TEACHER TRAINING

The Studio & Nikki Estrada Yoga are teaming up for a comprehensive 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training this Fall of 2023. Based on the fundamentals of a holistic yoga practice, learn asana, sequencing, pranayama, meditation, yoga philosophy, anatomy and more. This training is for anyone serious about their yoga practice or interested in teaching.

  • How to create and sustain a personal yoga practice that feeds yourself and your teaching

  • Understand the fundamentals of anatomy and how this applies to your yoga practice and your sequencing

  • Learn to craft creative sequences that are intelligent and balanced for all levels

  • Study yoga philosophy to further personal growth, add depth to your classes and apply to daily living.

  • Learn hands on adjustments, how to use your voice and how to manage a yoga room

  • Learn how to cue poses accurately and address risk factors to keep students safe

  • Study the subtle body through pranayama, the chakras, bandhas, Ayurveda and more

  • Establish a meditation practice and learn to teach simple methods to your students

  • Learn the history of yoga, how to honor the tradition while adapting to modern life and how to live a yogic lifestyle for optimal health and well being

AREAS WE WILL COVER

NIKKI ESTRADA

Nikki has more than 20 years teaching experience and has been leading 200 and 300-hour teaching trainings for more than 17 years. She is YA500hr E-RYT and was Director of Trainer Development for YogaWorks for more than 7 years where she supported and mentored teacher trainers. She leads intensives, immersions and workshop series in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. She contributes to Yoga International where you can find her articles and videos. She also contributes video content on www.yogaanytime.com. Nikki was a 2016 Athleta Ambassador for embodying the Power of She, was sponsored by Zobha, has presented at Yoga Journal conferences and was voted best yoga teacher by Marin Magazine 2016.
